| Be cautious if you are planning to purchase and Christmas gifts at Staples. Any returns must be made with 14 days of purchase and there is a 15% restocking fee. I was ready to purchase a monitor and sveral other items when I became aware of the policy. I thought that perhaps they made an exception to their policies at Christmas but was told by Customer Service that no exceptions would be made. I can understand the policy for business and personal purchases but it makes no sense whatsoever when it pertains to Christmas gifts. I have had problems with Staples over rebates and this is just another example of how they treat customers.

| Thanks for the information. Good to know.

| what does staples have that is a good buy now and doesn't involve rebates? the 15% only applies to certain items. need to look on back of their receipts to see what they are.

| try again The only time Staples doesn't fully comply with their policy is around Christmas when gifts are a consideration. Of course, this will vary pending on how much of an ars the staples management are. Ask again, tell them it's a holiday gift and would like clarification on the return policy. Make sure you get it in writing with management signature. I got the store manager to sign my receipt last year and I did have to return it. They were very friendly. |
