Full Circuit City Ad Is Here!

I managed to smuggle one of our full ads out of the cash office. Here's the Circuit City deals. These are the five hour specials, most of them are while supplies last only. These can not be special ordered, if your associate says otherwise have them verify the no-special order list, as some items on that list are orderable in the system, but will not arrive. These 5-Hour Specials will go from 7 AM to Noon, while supplies last, other items at higher prices will be bulked out on the sales floor when supplies of the advertised products run out.

Circuit City has a different game plan this year, associates will be mostly paired at registers. An hourly employee will ring everyone up, a comissioned employee will talk to people in line about any accessories they need, and performance guarantees they may want to add to their products. The company takes a loss on most of these items, so purchasing accessories and guarantees is a nice thing to help make up for it.

A few tips for shopping during the next few days. Be prepared to grab your deals, many stores such as our require you to have the product in your hand. We will not be able to ring up items that are bulked out on the sales floor, unless you hand it to us. Be prepared, figure out what you are going in for, because no matter how much planning goes into it, Friday and probably Saturday will be chaos. Probably the most important piece of advice from my standpoint I can give, is be patient with your sales person. Please understand that we are all under quite a bit of stress, beginning with preparations today but really starting on Friday. Most of our associates will be working a 16 hour shift with an hour lunch and two short breaks on Friday, then another 12 hour shift on Saturday. We're all gonna do our best, just bear with us a bit =]

Now for the actual deals, !-! denotes a major BBB (Best Buy Beater) in the lineup, meaning Best Buys closest comparison is not nearly as good of a deal. I don't have the full Best Buy ad on me, so I can't compare them all unfortunately, but I recall the highlights.

Hope this works,but I just ordered most of the items I was interested in for "in store pickup". Its no extra time to have them adjusted, since they run the order through the ocmputer anyway before you can pick it up. Its all "automagic". This happens a lot on their normal weekly specials - the web site often has the last-week price when I order (at 7 am sunday morning, eastern), but by the time I pickthem up the prices are correct and adjusted.

Not that I wouldn't have a copy of the circular in hand to check...just in case you have to "return" something and then "buy it" right back again.
