 Credit card number stolen...check your accounts!!!
I know this probably doesnt belong in this forum but I wanted to make sure you guys saw it concerning how important it is. This morning while checking my account online I found that 2two different $150 charges were made to my MasterCard without my permission. One was to Drivenice.com and the other one was to 13th Century Records. I've never heard of either one of these places. I contacted my bank and we're disputing it. They gave me the phone number for the first one but didn't have one for the second one. After calling Drivenice.com I've found out that many many people have had their cards stolen and they are working at a solution as we speak. They mentioned the words international scam actually. So far Wells Fargo, Verisign, and one other place (can't remember I'm too shaky at the moment) I think it's Digital something. are investigating the matter and transactions are being reversed as they can get to them. Anyway I just wanted to warn you guys to check your accounts. Unfortunately mine was a debit mastercard and if I dont hurry and get this letter in today I could be hurting for cash and bouncing checks. They were nice enough to go ahead and cancell my card AND my dh's and send out new ones for me. (he's overseas right now in the Air Force) Check those statements guys!!! Vicki

Thanks for the heads up! I'll sit down this afternoon for my online banking and will check my other cc's as well.

I'm from Columbus, IN. My family still lives there but dh and I and the kids are all in SC now with the Air Force. I miss Indy but after living in a big city for so long I dont think I could go back to country life!LOL! Vicki

Sorry to hear that ... hopefully everything they will fix everything for ya soon ~as far as the cc stealing thing, lets all remember it Holiday Time .. that means be EXTRA CAREFUL !!!! lots of bad people out there waiting to get things that dont belong to them

| Nope...
They said from the looks of it ...it may have been through one of the security places though. Still investigating. Didn't verisign have a problem like this last year too? I know they are investigating also.
