get $10 gift card w/ every $50 purchase @ macy's B&M during their 2 day sale 10/23-24.

gift card has to be used by 11/21/01 or so (exact date is printed in the card).

Where did you hear about this? I was at Macy's yesterday buying a wedding gift and they didn't give me anything!

saw it at another site and they reported seeing it on tv.

then went there after work and picked up 6 items for $52 (no tax on clothes in CT for smaller amounts) from their clearance sale. was about to ask the salesperson about it but then he mentioned it and told me to bring my receipt to the manager sitting at a desk by the door for the $10 gc. so at least in CT. its valid.

i assumed it was nationwide.

fyi, it's also valid in NY. i rec'd a card on sat, & it was also in Newsday yesterday.
