Hi All, I just got a post card yesterday saying they have rejected by rebate because I had duplicates. This was for the Elibrium offer. I just got one each of the Home productivity kit, Smart business pack and MyCD labeler. I called Amazon, they are giving me the run around. One lady called Kim is to send me a mail, but nothing so far. Have anyone else come across this yet >Hoping for the best RF |

That really doesn't make sense, because their own rebate coupon says "use separate coupon for EACH rebate requested." If it were one rebate per person from their entire list of software on that coupon, no need for the "separate coupon" requirement. So their own coupon proves, to me, that multiple rebates are acceptable (one per software title). Waiting to see if I get a postcard... |

Hi all, Yes I too read the rebate form. I even pointed this out to the Amazon Lady. She went off on her own theory. I even faxed them a copy of the rebate form. No answer from Amazon yet and the rebate people at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] told me they cannot do anything as that is what their system tells them . I think I will call the Amazon lady today.I will post any info I get. RF |

Register Now] Yep, mine are also showing as denied for duplication. Elibirum rebate center has a completely automated phone line, you can leave your phone number and supposedly will be contacted by CS in 24 hours. 877-776-0363 Where in the world did you find a phone number for Amazon? I searched their site and found only e-mail to CS (which I have used). This has me totally ticked off. |

Got a very nice fellow named Steve on rebate CS phone. He's having me fax him a copy of rebate coupon, which is still online at Amazon FYI: Hope that long link works. Anyway, he sounds very interested in making this right, so crossing fingers! 10/18 UPDATE: Steve called back, left a message that he had "passed the issue to a CS Agent" who would take a few days to get it resolved. Steve said he would call me back when it was handled. I hope they fix it for all submissions, not just mine/other people who contact them. A friend of mine did the same rebates, so when/if I get the call that mine have been resolved, I'll check hers and see the status... still fingers crossed, which BTW makes it hard to type. OK, my rebates have been fixed but I checked my friend's and they are still showing "rejected for duplication." I can't believe that this company is only fixing the problem for those who complain, but then again maybe I can... So if you are in this boat, they know the story and should fix the problem for you without any hassle, but be sure you let them know that you need the fix. RF -- interesting, because I complained to Amazon by e-mail AFTER you posted this, and received a call-back message on Friday from Amazon saying that they were getting the problem fixed. Haven't gotten my promised call-back from RebateStatus CS but it's the weekend.

Hi, I just called the rebate people. They said they will fix the problem after I insisted that they were mistaken and demanded to talk to a manager. Before that they just kept saying that I was wrong and they could not do anything. I have not had a chance to call Amazon again. I will post after I call them. RF |

I called the rebate place and talked to a rep. I read the terms of the offer to her. The problem is there is only one department (promotion) code on the rebate form. Additional rebates to the same department are denied. Read the terms to them and they'll file your rebate. She pushed my second one thru. Ryan

Called yesterday about getting my friend's rebates fixed. Initial operator was clueless, tried to tell me "one per person." I told her that Steve and Tracy had been involved in fixing my situation, she finally checked with supervisor and came back with: Yes, it's a problem with computer system that all rebates have same dept. number. They are supposed to have the system fixed in 5 working days -- she suggested checking back on 29th to make sure the rebates had been processed properly. I would paste in a little Windows hourglass icon here if I had one... |
