 Send a Free Bear to those who have lost a loved one
I found this on another board, I thought it needed to be shared with as many people as possible......... The Vermont Teddy Bear Co. is donating Angels bears, Police bears and Firefighter bears to all the families and children of the courageous firefighters,police officers and rescue workers who lost their lives saving others. We would like the bears to come with personal messages from all of you all over the country. All messages will be printed and will accompany the bears. What a wonderful idea !! I hope all the DOD members send one ! When I first tried the link, it didn't work... if that happens, just go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] and there is a link to go send a bear. You can pick one of three to send...a police bear, a firefighter bear or an angel bear. |

I ssaw this too yesterday on another board and I sent an Angel Bear... and then passed the link on to friends. What a great thought, I love that we can personalize the messages!! Got my kids involved and they felt as though they were able to contribute and really boosted the good will in the home!

It is fixed cindypooh. Thank you so much for the heads up on it. I want as many people as possible to check it out. I think that it is a wonderful idea. Especially with the uncertainty of where our military is going to be in the near future!! Special prayers going out for your brothers!!
