Ourhouse 75% off Kitchen Clearance

If you haven't checked out ourhouse.com in a few days, go now! Check out their Clearance section. They've got some great deals on brand names that usually don't go on sale - Krups, All-Clad, etc.

A little to pricey for me even with their clearance prices. $200 for a toaster. Wow. But thanks anyway.

Daulit toasters are very good toaters but there big appeal are the looks. Mostly for people who want to display their toaster in a perfect designer kitchen. Otherwise a $20 toaster from Braun etc would do just fine

I bought a Francis Francis espresso machine. It does not work better than my Krups espresso machine but it looks great on the kitchen counter. I would not have bought it if it was not on sale.

BTW I love espresso so I could justify the money for the espresso machine , but I do not love toast or make enoug toast to justify paying 150 to 200 for a taoster even if it is on sale

Big grin Ok...I've got to see the $424 toaster...too funny.

I'm the type who could burn toast in a $5 toaster or $424 toaster. I think I'll save the $419 and get a new $5 toaster every week for the next couple years!

The prices were great, but I hesitated too long and what I wanted was sold out. She who hesitates is lost, especially on the internet.

Anyway, I went to their web site a few times over the last few weeks to see if there were any other deals and their web site is down. There is a notice that they are moving their servers, but it has been 2 weeks since I noticed it. So I was just curious if people had gotten their orders and if it worked out ok for them.

Talking I received my OurHouse orders

Thanks to this post on DealofDay, I was able to get a KitchenAid Epicurean for about $220, shipped. I am singing the praises of DoD each time I make a big batch of cookies, a meringue, or a cake - the mixer is simply the bees knees, and without that deal, I would have settled for a far lesser model.

Later in the sale, I also ordered some Lion Head french onion soup bowls from Emile Henry - they're adorable. And they arrived (relatively) promptly despite the chaos of last month's events.

I hope everyone has received their orders as well!
