I saw some talk of this on another board last week and decided to spend my Flooz from American Greetings ASAP! I didn't post anything because I thought that it may be rumors and I didn't want to freak anyone out! I sure hope that they are just down for maintenance, but I'm thankful that I took the rumors to heart and bailed!!! Don't tell me it is gone!!! I just got my FLOOZ a week ago from a reward site that I had cashed out on...................boy...guess I better email them about this. They better let me exchange it for something esle then

| i just CALLED american greetings,
csr said flooz has told them they will be back up next week. i asked her about prorating of platinum membership, i.e. having to wait another week to cxl and being charged for that. she said that there will not be prorating on cancellation of the platinum membership. (if others want to call and verify, the number is 1-888-833-7673. flooz 877-411-3566.) of course, the $50 my secretary gave me for christmas will be lost.... dammit.

I just called American Greetings too and was told the same thing, that Flooz says they will be back up next week. I asked what would happen if they weren't and was told American Greetings would give some other form of compensation, we would not be left with useless Flooz. Hannahsmom, what did you mean about them not prorating the refund? Did they mean they would refund it all or refund nothing upon cancellation? |

| well, they charge you by amount of time you've been in,
not by whether you've used services. i told her i'd want to cancel if the flooz is invalid, but didn't want to be charged another week's membership. she said that was completely understandable, and that i would not be prorated in that event. i did not ask for further clarification (should have), but if it doesn't work out, i'm asking for ALL my money back from the platinum thing. (i called again, and got another person. he, too, told me what you heard. that there will be some other form of compensation. but what will that be? i really can't imagine, can you?)

This SUCKS! I had $50 & my husband had $70 .. I was waiting around on him to decide what Skechers he wanted & now I find out this. I can't believe that it wasn't ever posted on this site, especially since there was at least one person who posted here who had heard of this. I wish we would have been warned. |

I emailed Flooz about 3+ hours ago, but have heard nothing back yet. Here is their automatic reply: Greetings from Flooz.com Customer Care. We've received your e-mail and are working on a response. A Flooz Customer Care representative will contact you soon. If you'd like to speak with someone immediately, you may select "Live Chat" located at the top of our web site pages. We're here to assist you Monday through Sunday from 11 AM to 7 PM EST. Again, thank you for your inquiry. We'll do everything we can to provide a resolution as soon as possible. So much for that........you can't even get to the live chat at their site. Hopefully we'll hear something soon. Just as an FYI for those that are a little upset about another poster hearing the rumor but supposedly not posting it.......there were rumors about Flooz having problems prior to the American Greetings promo. I remember seeing things posted about Flooz and GiftCertificates.com in the Points and Rewards Forum. The rumors had died down, but the seed was planted ........shame on people like me who didn't really listen to them and still had about $47 in my account! Oh, I hope they come back!
