need help ordering with betty crocker points from the betty crocker catalog....

has anyone ever orderd from the bettycrocker points catalog???? just wondering if the experience was good or bad.....

also, with the points, did you just mail your points in with your order form in the large envelope they provide?

OR ifyou ordered online, do they wait until they receive your points to process your order???????

did they ship UPS or USPS, form says they do either one, i wonder how they determine that...

i plan on ordering the checkboard cake set, betty crocker pasty mat, and the pie birds.....

any advise or comments would be appreciated! i'd like to order online/fax if it processes my order quicker but how do they know that you sent your points in since they tell you not to send in a copy of your order with your points, what do you include in that envelop with your points????????

I've ordered from them several times and never had a problem. Also, after you order a certain amount (not sure if it's $ or # of orders) they start sending you offeres where you don't have to send any points, but get the same prices.

I started in 1986 or so, so there was no internet site to use. I sent in for the catalog. Then I ordered. After that, you are on their mailing list for life. After a while, I started getting flyers for no-points pricing. It's not that i don't have the points, just they are a pain. I dont' know if that's available for evertyhing, but it is for the silverware, which is what I buy from them.

I did find that you have to make sure you are getting a good price. I have no choice but to get more silvberware from them, but many items seem to be at regular retail prices that you would get at Target/WalMart/etc. So watch out that you aren't getting a bad deal. YOu may feel like you are getting a deal becasueof the points discount, but I've foudn that frequestnly you can get it taht price with out points somewhere else easily.

totally agree with you on that one. some of their prices are crazy high and can definantly be found elsewhere.

however the only 2 things i ordered were the pie birds and the checkerboard cake set. i have not seen either anywhere. i ordered on the net and they sent me a confirmation e-mail explaing to mail my points to some address with my name, address, etc..... within 14 days. they said my ordered would be delivered in 10 business days.

we'll see what happens....
