Has anyone ordered this online yet? My sister is thinking about ordering it and was wondering about the rebates. If you get it online for $39.98 and get the $30 rebate from Staples, can you still get the $10 rebate from Intel? At the Intel site it says can not be combined with any other Intel offers, is the Staples deal considered a Intel offer? Staples rebate info is confusing, they do state going to service desk and getting the extra $10 rebate for Intel, but I read a few other posts about having to pay $49.98 for the camera at the store.....so any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

These should be considered two separate rebates, so theoretically intel shouldn't havea problem giving you $10 whilst staples gives you $30. I'm not sure if both require an original UPC code, however.

| $10 rebate-here is how..
Andee1: I just tried to order and got the $10 instant rebate right away. After filling your cart, go to viewcart details and enter coupons and enter the coupon code 11280. This is posted in their site. after this you will see $10 reduced in your total. HTH-sapjala9 Quote:

Thanks for all the help! The way Staples has been about their orders lately, I was wondering how this would turn out. I have one of the older versions of this camera, and really like it. I send little "movies" of the kids to my mom and sister all the time. Even if you had to pay $10 its worth it! Hey, I just went back to Staples site and I could have sworn that camera was $39.98 yesterday, and now its showing up as $49.98! So now Im thinking, if you use the $10 instant rebate they have, it would be considered a Intel rebate and you couldnt use the Intel site for another $10 off. What do you think?

Again, I doubt intel knows anything about an "instant rebate" on the staples web site, so as long as you have a UPC and a receipt, you should get the $10. An "instant rebate" is nothing more than a price reduction. The good news is that if you don't get the $10 intel rebate, it isn't the end of the world. |

HI, there is another post around here somewhere that discusses some of the same questions. I bought a camera at Staples and it rang up at $49.95. The cashier tried to tell me that the extra $10 off was the intel rebate but when I called the manager over he disagreed because the ad made no mention of the other rebate. He adjusted the price so that I only paid $39.95 The website had the camera for $39.95 on Sunday and I ordered one for a friend. They obviously jacked the price up since I placed my order since it now is showing at $49.95. Also, I don't think one rebate has anything to do with the other. If you could only use one rebate, Staples would require you to send in the the original upc code. The only time they accept a copy is when there is another offer that requires it. |
