I have to suggest ebay!!!! I am not kidding, there are alot of dealers of new furniture there. In fact I was just looking for a table and chairs, and I found the set I wanted both here and on ebay, and cheaper through ebay with delivery! At the very last minute I found that set another place and with their presidents sale it was a bit better. Just do a search under dining tables.

Make sure you ask lots of questions. Have fun!

I agree with IKEA. We found Ikea when we were stationed in Germany 12 years ago and we LOVE them. Now that we're on the east coast though we can't seem to find one...sigh. Man do I miss Ikea!!!!

I did order a baby crib from JcPenney.com and got it in 10 days. (oversized item so it took longer. It's still in the box though...since we're moving in 2 weeks and the baby isn't here yet!LOL! I would definitely try them. They had a 15% off coupon at the time...not sure if they still do or not though.

My husband & I bought a wall unit from Ikea in Sydney, Australia. Even though you have to put it together yourself, it's very good quality. We moved to the US and had to take apart the wall unit but had no problem putting the whole thing back together! Other lesser quality furniture that we had, did not pass the test of being taken apart & put together a second time.

If you have a store near you of course this is best since I vaguely remember that their shipping prices weren't so great. I wanted to buy more things from them once we were in the US but there's no store in the city i live in. Oh well...
