Just a quick note:

I did not click on the deal offer at the bottom of DoD home page ~~~I clicked on the offer at the top of the homepage~~~ Where there are three boxes with offers highlighted in them. You may need to refresh the page 3-5 times to get it to come up...I had to just now, so I could check for the pic and what it said...

The box has a picture of a ,smiley face sun with sunglasses on and says:

I used this link last night and everything went smoothly. I signed up, got my $5 immediately in my account, filled out my personal information, made a list of favorite stores, and placed an order at Spiegel's.

Today when I checked my e-mail I had received e-mail confirmation of my ebates account, a confirmation of my Spiegel order, and am waiting to see what happens next...

P.S. I told one of my sister's about this offer and when she tried signing up, it gave her an account, but no $5...I told her about what I just posted above...so she canceled her account and went back later in the day and "re-signed up", and this time she got her account, $5, and is still deciding what to get and where to get it...she said; "OMG! Termination

The terms of this Agreement will begin upon acceptance of your application. This Agreement shall commence on the date of approval of your membership application and shall continue thereafter in full force and effect until terminated at any time by either party by giving the other party a notice of termination. Ebates may terminate User's access, or suspend any User's access to all or part of Ebates, without notice, for any conduct that Ebates, in its sole discretion, believes is in violation of any applicable law or is harmful to the interests of another User, a third-party Provider, a service provider, or Ebates.

I signed up with ebates through DealOfDay on 4-25~~~ I got $5 immediately credited to my account...

I made a purchase with Spiegel on 4-25~~~I got my Spiegel rebate credited to my account on 4-27...

I received my order in two deliveries~~~one on 4-27 and second/rest of order on 4-30...

I am now just patiently waiting for the $10 Amazon GC from DealOfDay...I know it will come as soon as everything is verified through DoD...I'm just pointing out that I seem to be rolling right along on this deal...

BUT, I've noticed similar offers at other places, so maybe ALL the different offers during this time frame have "overwhelmed" ebates???
