Staples has the visioneer scanner with $30 rebate from Staples and $30 from Visioneer. Price for scanner now $79.98, but may go down to $74 Sunday. Valid until 4/14.

Currently, $25 off $100 coupon avail and various freebie items.

Anyone still need a scanner?

Have one already....I find it very useful.
but if we can figure out how to make it totally "free" I'm sure I'd find closet space for an "emergency extra".

If we did both rebates, though, on the last Vissioneer deal are we allowed to do these current rebates too?

Have a wish for free printers full of ink as well.
Have a wish for phones too

Guess I am in the mood for a fantastic freebie deal but haven't found all the right pieces.

Generally the staples rebates are valid on multiples of the same product as long as bought in different "periods". In other words, generally they say "item must be purchased between xxxx and yyyy", and if you buy one in this period, and one from a different rebate period, they both count.

the Manufacturer's rebates tend to be more restrictive, they often say "must be bought by xxxx" and often don't accept two in the same "by xxxx" period.

questions on the scanner deal

Is this available only at Staples.com or at B&M stores also? Did anyone who bought this the first time around not receive their rebates? Is the Staples rebate instant or mail-in? What resolution is the scanner, and what is the plate size for scanned images? Really tempted by this deal...

I think you can enter the rebate for Staples on-line if you buy it at B&B. But the coupon mentioned above is only good on-line. There are diff B&M coupons out there that expire April 15.

I have received the $30 from "Staples Vissioneer" already and the $30 from Staples.com is marked as received by them and valid and scheduled for redemption.

How about this idea...

If you can do this at B&M there is a 15 off 40 coupon floating around, find a print of it..then
GOTO B&M grab the scanner 79.99 -15 coupon =64.99 -30 rebate - second 30 rebate = 4.99 plus tax after coupon and both rebates

I live too far from to run over just to try this myself.
First be sure you can get both rebates of course.

OH yeah ..If it goes to 74.99 Sunday... hey you might get it Sunday for sales tax only after coupon and both rebates
if my above idea works!!
?????

good news, $69.94

The scanner will be $69.94 or something like that...just below $70. With $60 rebate (2 x $30). Also few softwares around $10 with full rebate.
