Someone on another board that I post on mentioned that their security on their site expired 2 weeks ago - so be careful in using them...I am not sure how important it is...but it is always better to be safe than sorry....

I'm not really a collector butI I'd love to get my daughter one of the fairy 18" dolls...the clothes are too cute !! But the shipping would be $9.95 !!
Do you guys think they will go any lower? or does anyone have a source code? I searched for a few through google.com but all 3 were expired ! Any help ??? Thanks !!! ( Its an awesome deal but spending $43 on a doll and 5 outfits is alot for me right now !! )

Why on the face of this earth did I have to click on this thread? The 70% drew me in and then when I read they were going out of business I was hooked. Then I read about the fairy doll and just HAD to look. Why oh why did I have to look???? Now I am here racking my brain trying to find a reason to justify buying a fairy doll, extra outfit, and her accessory kit. I have no kids, I don't collect dolls, but that fairy is SO pretty and you can't beat that price.
Oh please some one come hide my credit card from me! Quick!

Just a word of warning, if you order something that is a set, there is a chance that part of the set may be out of stock. I ordered the Deluxe fair set which contains twelve items, after looking at my order conformation not all the itmes are coming. As you can see 8 of the twelve items are not coming. Despite this I'm still apparently paying the $19.99 for them and I also paid a extra $5 dollars shipping (not to mention the fact that the $19.99 raised the normal amount of shipping in the first place). Kind of makes me wish I hadn't ordered it now.

Sweetiris, like you I had no logical reason to order Laurel but just had to have her! I had my order in my shopping cart and was doing a final check to see if there was anything else I wanted. When I clicked on the descriptions of several items I had in my cart, such as extra clothes, they were labeled as sold out...but that didn't appear anywhere else. Then I came across a page that shows Laurel. She doesn't come with the cape, basket or floral headpiece. They were all "extras" that must have sold out already. I abandoned my cart. Durn it. I feel a little mislead, but I realize glitches happen when sites go out of business.

Hi, I saw this deal here a few days ago and went to the site and ordered a bunch of stuff. My daughter is just turning 1, so I think I'm going to have to stick it all up in the attic for a couple years, but I couldn't pass up the deal! That fairy doll is gorgeous! I'm sorry the company is going out of business, I'd always intended to order from them when my daughter got a little older.

My order confirmation e-mails both state that all the items are in stock and reserved, but I'm a bit skepticle since after I placed one order I decided to order some more items. From their order confirmation page I clicked on the logo icon at the top of the page and it sent me to an older version of their home page without all the going out of business messages. I went to the section with all the fairy doll accessories and it let me order several items that weren't listed on the "current" website. I went ahead and placed a second order and it went through normally and supposedly all the items are "in stock and reserved".

I'm now wondering if I'm going to get any of this stuff.

I've heard rumors that idolls will be substituting nothing. In other words someone could order the deluxe accessory set, receive a confirmation email, find out only 1 out 12 items is available, end up paying the $19.99 plus extra $5 shipping, and there is nothing they can do about it.

Even though they are going out of business that has got to be illegal. They can't say on the site that it's available then part of it's not and then charge full price. When I ordered the set NOTHING on the site said anything about it being out of stock or backordered till 4/08/01.
I'm still trying to figure out why people who ordered after me received backordered till 4/08, but I received out of stock. Does this mean that if there's a chance of anybody getting anything that I don't get it at all (even though my order was first)?

The deluxe sets now say "may contain" up to 12 different items, which covers their a**es. However, I just went back and ordered *more* stuff (maybe I'm an idiot!), including the big set. The confirmation they just sent me includes 14 items in the set, but not as many large items like the people listing above received. And they've removed the extra shipping fee, at least it isn't mentioned on the item description page anymore. Here's what I'm receiving in the set (hopefully).

I also tried calling their customer service lines to ask about shipping time. No one answers. So I e-mailed them this morning and received a prompt answer. They claim they ship within 24 hours and items should be received within 5-7 days. We'll see!
