Rolling eyes

Ok I have been posting many questions about our trip to Orlando and have decided to give priceline a try. (I really wanted the Holiday Inn Family Suites but couldn't find anything less than 129.00 a night.) So for fun I put a bid in for a three star hotel at priceline.com. I can't believe I got the hotel for 39.00 a night. So, we are staying at the Courtyard By Marriott Walt Disney World Village. I looked it up and it's normally 109.00 a night. So, not bad for 308.21 for the week. It looks like a nice place.

Isn't priceline.com great?! Last year I got an airline ticket from them, Minneapolis to London Heathrow and back on Air Canada, and it cost me $411.79, including fare, tax, and Fed-Ex delivery. Regular cost on that ticket? Nearly $1200!! I'm hoping that they'll still be around around Christmastime this year, time then to book more tickets for England!

Love

I love priceline.com. I've gotten hotel rooms for Northern VA for only $20, car rentals in California for $18 mid-grade. I miss the groceries. I saved a ton of money. The best deal I've gotten for airfare was Richmond - California $175 round-trip.

I just bid at priceline and "won"!! I got the Wyndam Palace Resort and Spa in Downtown Disney (lowest I could find at travelocity was $135 for AAA rate) for $33/night + American Express $20 bonus (per night)for Memorial Day weekend. Here is the site I used to make my informed bid! It really helped alot!! Of course after you add taxes and the $6 priceline fee my total came to $122.13 for 3 nights!! Still a great deal!!

Another tip which I have not looked in to is that someone said they used netgrocer to deliver groceries to their hotel. I think there is an amazon coupon for some sort of food delivery place. I'm not sure if they deliver in Orlando though. I will have to find out!!

Very Nice Jennifer! Did you use any bonus-were they add
a certain amount into your bid-like smarterliving.com or
the other one's that i've seen posted? Or go thru a reward/point program which has priceline.com as a merchant
partner? Either way-I love it when I see people save $$$.
If my memory was correct weren't you flying from like New
Jersey to Orlando? I think I had suggested spirit or
southwest-What did you find?

Thanks

Thank you hezell

Thank you Hezell for the great link to the priceline bidding board for Orlando. I scored the same exact deal that you did ($33 + $20 amex bonus) for the Wyndham for 5/10-5/13. The cheapest price for the Wyndham for that weekend was $179/night.

Thanks for the great link. I saved a bundle!!!
