I'm not entirely sure I understand how this works, but here it is for what it's worth. Here's the text from Amazon's site:

I ordered the software for $0.00 and free shipping. I'm not sure what the Amazon Photo Services membership costs.

Most online sites (at least the 2 I belong to) don't charge for membership. I guess they make their money when people order pictures.

I just placed the order for the software...you can download on the site...but I suppose to get the 25.00 gc..then you have to order. Cause if you click thru the site...then the GC isn't mentioned. Hope we get this...I have used Ofoto thru another digital site..and they print great pictures!!

I got the email from ofoto with my $25gc yesterday. I placed my order, and got my shipping conformation today. This works anywhere on amazon, not just the camera area. This is an awesome deal!!!

Just a word of advice. Make sure you save every e-mail you get concerning this deal. I got an e-mail from ofoto 3 days ago stating that I would not get the Amazon $25 gc because I was already an ofoto member prior to the start of this promo (feb 13 I think). I don't know where they got that from, but that's what they said. I wrote them back and sent them a copy of my order for the software from amazon. Then I found a copy of my "welcome to ofoto" e-mail which was dated 3/17, so I forwarded that to them as well. They never replied, but this morning I got my $25 GC by e-mail.

Well, I was disqualified from getting the GC.

They said since I have "other accounts with common info" I can't receive this promo.

My husband, son & daughter signed up too. Does it say anything about this? I emailed CS to ask why?

What does your order status say? It may be that your order got hung up. Call Amazon at 1-800-201-7575 and ask them what is going on (in a nice way of course!)

A while back I ordered a cell phone from them, and for some reason, even after everything had cleared, my order wasn't going anywhere. Everything was "on hand," but nothing was shipping. I called and found out that it got stuck in the warehouse and the customer service guy had to do something to get it "un-stuck". Whatever he did, it worked, and my phone shipped that same day. My experience has been that if something is repeatedly delayed, even after it comes back into stock, there's a good chance you will never get it if you don't follow up.

I seem to remember someone saying there's a way to download the software you need instead of using the CD....anyone know where you can do that or if it will still work with this deal? Might be worth a call to ofoto.

I believe the offer stated there was only 1 per household, so that's probably why you cannot get the offer.
