17" monitor at Staples for $99.98 !!!

Our monitor has been going darker and darker for the past few months. I was looking at Staples for one under $250 and found this one for $179.98 with a $80 rebate !!! Also they have coupons for $40 off $100 ( 91216 ) or $30 off $150 (91061 ). Free shipping with any order over $50 !! I also ordered a cartridge for my printer...Total with tax was $190.21...minus the $80 rebate..$110.21 for a monitor and color cartridge !!!! ( Canon cartridges are SO expensive !! )

With all the problems that people are having with Staples/Rebates, I'll skip this one...BestBuy and Circuit City both have monitors for under $200...thanks anyway.

If you don't like the post skip it !! Geezz, I found a deal and was posting it.....We wonder why more people don't post here !!??? Maybe because of people like skye who cut down their posts !!! The rebate is $80 which is an added bonus...after the $30 coupon it would be $149.98...then if the rebate does go through it would only be $69.98 plus tax. If thats not a deal I don't know what one is !!

Anyways...I received my monitor today....I just ordered it last night !!! It is awesome....even without the rebate it is an awesome deal !!! $149.98 minus coupon !!! Its bigger than my daughters tv !!! I love it and want to thank myself for posting such an awesome deal !!! LOL !!

Jodi, that poster is just frustreated with rebates as I sometimes get.

I just noticed Cyberrebate is trying to jerk me around some more and I am "FRUSTRATED" a bit too.

Btw, the coupon 91216 may be $40 off $200, for anyone else trying to use it. I tried applying it (to a different purchase) and it said insufficient amount when the total was $100 + and applied it when the total was $200 +.

Sorry to hear the monitor is out of stock, it was such a good deal. I forgot to put in my title that it would have only been $69.98 after the $30 coupon.
I, too, am so frustrated with cyberrebate ....especially on the porcelain clock deal where we were supposed to make money !! But I have never heard anything about staples before.....they are a huge company and I am sure they will honor rebates...perhaps they are slow because they have so many rebates to process and I have seen MANY posts with people using staples rebates and coupons. But as I said before, anyone who was looking for a monitor knows that even the $179.98 was a great deal, so the rebate will just be an extra !!

Problems with rebates??

I received over $250.00 in rebates from Staples last week. (sweet!)

I have not had any problems with Staples rebates. I normally get my checks about 6 weeks after I send them in.

BTW, I am awaiting this monitor. (Today) I have read mixed reviews and read that they (Staples) is substituting it with a 17" NEC. As long as they honor the rebate, I'll be happy.

I did this one this morning also. I took a couple of the tack on deals from another staples posting and they went through also.

Add the epson photo paper 380356 with coupon 11049

Add the sanford uniballs 384091 with coupon 88794

Total for me was 147.35 then the rebate will make it 64.35

IF they send the NEC like was just posted, I can handle that also. I can't imagine that they would sub it without prior approval but my email bill shows it to be the Univision so they would have to honor the rebate.
