Almost free shipping at BabiesRUs!

I ordered 35 items for about 4.50 shipping!!These items are in the clearance section and each item is marked whether or not it ships free.I think you still have to pay the first 3.00.

There has been some controversy here between my sister and I about the babiesrus shipping. She placed an order and paid over 20.00 to ship it. I placed an order the next day and paid 4.50. The only difference we could see was that my order was shipping to a p.o. box and hers was not. The 4.50 standard shipping was the only option they gave me be cause of it. Did yours ship to a p.o. box? We were really trying to figure this out and she was pretty ticked off about it. It seems to me that if they can ship to some for 4.50 they could ship to all for 4.50. I told her to try to cancel her order and then re-order and have it shipped to me and see if that made a difference. She is still trying to contact them to find out if she CAN cancel it! However, if anyone is ordering from them, the shipping address just might make a difference, so heads up!

I ordered 11/8 and paid 16.50 shipping. They must have started the free shipping on selected items since then. Also, some items dropped in price!I didn't double check but I'm sure some items were NOT marked free shipping.Anyway, now you can get some really good deals.I didn't spend more than $5 on any item.

My sister just emailed me and said that after she sent an email to babiesrus questioning the difference, they just sent her an email apologizing and gave her a 25.00 gift certificate to use for her next purchase. What great customer service!!

This really makes me mad - I placed an order for $36.00 and got charged a whopping $18 for shipping. I think I will be making a phone call!!!!!!!

OK - I just called 1888BABYRUS @ 1 am and they are sending me a gift certificate via email for 13.50 WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! The shipping is the only thing that stopped me from ordering a ton of other stuff!!! I am going back for more right now!!!!!!!

They gave me an option to have it credited back to CC or sending a GC - I chose the latter - I want my $$$$ now!!!

It is amazing how little it takes to excite me these days!! I LOVE SHOPPING!!!!

I guess it's all in who you talk to. I called and customer service pretty much said "oh well we wanted to get rid of the stuff so we changed the shipping charges" When I mentioned I spent $22.50 in shipping just the other day, her response was "well I don't know WHEN we changed it" Bummer! I guess it's live and learn.

If calling cs didn't work, you may want to try emailing them as well. My sister just sent them a *friendly* email and questioned the difference in shipping. Within 48 hours she got the apology and and the gc within 5 minutes of each other. Wouldn't hurt to try!! Good luck!

I ordered last week & paid a whopping $28 in shipping... to see, I just placed the same items in my cart & shipping was only $4.25! I called & they told me that last week there was a base $3 and a shipping charge per item.. they've since changed it, but since I ordered it last week, the charges apply.. bummer

I emailed them regarding the order I placed last week and someone is supposed to reply.I'm not expecting anything especially after the latest posts. Babiesrus shipping really isnt any different from similar sites.I hated to pay it but realized I was still getting a deal on those items.The timing was just bad! When I discovered this deal I was excited.I guess what I'm saying is lets put it behind us and take advantage of the deal we can get NOW!

I emailed them about my order on 11/10, I ordered 4 small items and shipping was $8. I asked them to cancel it, and they immediately emailed me back that they did. Now I am going to go back and reorder the items with free shipping. I only hope the cancellation really went through!

I would call back if they didn't give you credit for the shipping. What I told them was that I was charged $18 for shipping and my "friends" who ordered at that time also were only charged 4.25. So....she was very nice and immediately emailed me the GC.
