Kill the speedy click window!!!

Freaking annoying.
this isn't the right forum to post but it will get noticed here.
trying to do DOD at work and I have
the dumb box for the boxter on my screen everytime i click.

an add bar is one thing, the extra window is plain annoying.

We asked the media agency to REMOVE all those annoying pop up ads two days ago. We were assured they were gone. I have sent them another email complaining about them. Hopefully they will get it right this time! Sorry for the inconvenience, but this isn't our doing.

Just to let you know I am getting the annoying pop ups also. Was wondering where they were coming from. Thought my computer had a mind of its own. Now I know my puter isn't going wacko and they should be going away.

Ok well those ad's confused me a little bit at first.... But am I the only one who doesn't really mind just clicking the wondows to make them go away? *shrugs*

I'm with you Jocylien.......in case you forgot people this site is free for you to use and in order for Mayor and his staff to get paid they must have banner ads and the like! so if you want to keep getting good deals then CHILL OUT!!!

I agree that the pop ups are annoying. I don't have a problem with the banners, I myself have even visited a few of the sites advertised via banners (sometimes on purpose, sometimes not However, those popup ads are really annoying when trying to view DOD.. in the past few days, these ads have refused to close when I've tried, and have come back right after closing...So, while I completely understand that Mayor and staff need other incentives than freebies to keep this wonderful board, please - No More Pop Ups!!!

Could it be that the pop up ads are actually being stored on our own hard drives (like SpyWare programs)?

You can block pop ups and most ads. My boyfriend does it I'm not sure how. Sorry.
Its a lot faster without the ads. So far 167 ads have been blocked in two hours on the net.
