use the once a year 50% off sale at Jos Bank to buy their Traveler Jeans, which is the only time of year you can get them half off. Eighty dollars for a pair of jeans in my eyes is kinda high, but I can live with $40.00. This year for their 50% off sale I also got a Traveler jacket for about $40.00 that was originally $136.00.
Now, for all the DoD men out there, in a week or so Jos Bank will have a clearance sale up to 75% off. Signature suits will be down to around $200.00, leather jackets should be around 100-150, and Traveler shirts,(dress, casual, long sleeve and short sleeve polo) should be 19-25 dollars each. I cant recall what their clearance price has been for Traveler cotton pants in the past, but I recall paying about 50 dollars for a pair of wool Traveler pants which usually sell for 168 dollars at last year's January clearance sale.
The Jos Bank Traveler collection is the best dress not immediately needing ironing clothing rated by the Wall Street Journal. List price is usually around 60-75 dollars for the shirts and 75-80 for cotton pants, and over 150 for wool pants. They look good stay practically wrinkle free all day, and iron easily for a great look. I have a closet and dresser full of Traveler clothing, from blazers, polos, and casual shirts, to linen shirts and wool trousers and love them. My wife gave me a Jos. Bank gift certificate for Christmas, and I am waiting impatiently for the January clearance sale to go hog wild.
Jos Bank quality is akin to Brookes Bros. I will post Jos Bank clearance sale info here of DoD when it starts so all the DoD men can beef up their wardrobe.
