mm, okay, must be where you live.

Where I live, macadamias are only imported from hawaii and therefore very expensive nuts. I understand about cheap chocolate (eewww!) but I have never seen cheap macadamias.

I dont want the darned things anyway-- like 200 calories per ounce of macadamia... WAY Toooooo many!!!

I went and looked at the link... now I see what you mean! Those are more like macadamia chips!! LOL.

I bet they are icky.

And, yes, i have seen those sold mighty cheap./.. but i have also seen them sold mighty expensive... depends (as always) on the brand.

Still don't want them,
LOL

No. I've never had these, but they can't be all that bad, can they???? Then again, maybe that's why they're giving them away!!

I buy Swiss Colony every year. Some of the products are not great, some are really good. The choc mac nuts are great--my favorite. They have lots of nut chips (no they are whole nuts but SC does have some of those which I don't think are as good).

You don't need the code to get the nuts. Just go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] and press the FREE GIFT button at the top. Then you MUST put a 1 in the quantity slot, or you won't get the candy.

Any purchase qualifies for the mac chocs, but if you want the chocolate truffles which are also very good and valued higher (29.50 for 18 oz and are a creamy egg sugar chocolate covered in chocloate) then you need the code A1316. You click the mac nuts and put in quantity 1 and then near the end you can add this other code.

Some suggestions for your purchase to qualify for the free gift would be the smallest size of Mac nut not listed on the web site but number C4705 at 11.50 for 1/2 lb.

With the small box plus the free one--both choc covered mac's--the price was around $15 (the shipping was not as high as stated).

Other good products are the Fruitful Delights at 12.95 for 1 lb. These are the candies shaped like fruits with sugar rinds on them. Tart and fruit taste. Also the pecan log trio at 1/4 lb each for 13.25 C4421. These are caramel covered with pecans. Baklava minis at 11.75 C631 are excellent 1 lb. Fruitcake is much better than others C4849 1 and 1/2 lb for 13.95 (76 percent fruit and nuts).

I would not suggest the gingerbread house and the fancy cakes. Those taste kind of fakey. The gifts are fine, but they are more expensive than comparable at the store.
