update?on cd burning

ok, well I can burn on cd-r but cd-rw will not play on my cd player,only through my computer.Is this normal,is there something special you do to theses ones?I tried to format it and could not get that to show up in anyway.can you help?

I just recently bought a CD-R drive myself. You cannot play a CD-RW in most CD players. If you use CD-R discs, you will be able to use them in most CD players. Good luck!

Yeah.. most cd players do not play CD-RW discs. also, there is really no reason to CD-RW discs, since you can buy really cheap CD-R for less than $.20 (I got 50 CD-r for $5 once)
