Stumblori, Nooo I am not talking about "you". I wrote something "in general". Actually that was just my experience with that list. As a matter of fact I don't assume that anybody "has" to refer others by joining that list but unfortunately I couldn't get even a single reference(I used 9 or 10 of them). I just tried to say that that list is not enough.

The other thing is that since I remember by the name in subject that there is no reward for signing up, usually I don't visit those sites so i said "if"..... didn't mean avenging. I can refer you, no problem, I already get tons of junk mail

Got my gift certificate, but spent nearly an hour looking for something I actually wanted for under $25. Wound up with an Anne Geddes Address book for $18 and Grey Flannel Postcards for $6 (don't know what I'll do with the postcards)

Did you sign in at the site, after doing the email, when you go to sign in up above your name it will say my account. Look over this area there is a place that say "my certificates" that is where you'll find your Gift Certificate/and number. Hope you get it!

I got my GC, but I cannot complete the checkout process. I called CS and they said they couldn't take the order over the phone, but were working on problems and would email me. I was told by CS that they were having problems with some of the GCs and with Netscape 4.6, but I also tried Explorer with no luck. Hopefully they'll have the bugs worked out soon, so I can spend, spend spend!!

Just let me know; I'm in no hurry as long as I get *my* $25 GC too!! I didn't see anything on the registration page for a $25 GC. Is the deal dead?

i can understand a company pulling the promotion... but it seems wrong to pull the promotion from ppl that have already emailed friends/family. Once those emails go out, the company should be obligated to honor its promotion. I wrote to them explaining that I refered 10 ppl and so far 4 signed up, others COULD NOT sign up using my referal code... since they emailed those ppl, they ought to honor it... they got 4 customers and 10 names from me. Customer service was rude.
They claimed that this promotion wasgoing on for 90 days! I find that hard to believe...
we would have heard of it sooner...

Don't really want to do business with companies that pull coupons, and cancel promotions after you have already participated in it. There are many GOOD companies out there.
