Do you have a friend or relative who works for AT&T? Get them to sign up for online billing and then tell them to give you the Amazon GC. ....(shhhhh, DVD Man!)To: U.S.-based People of AT&T Online billing can make life simpler for our customers and more cost effective for AT&T. It’s also a way that you can make an individual contribution to our goal of reducing our SG&A costs this year. If you aren't already managing your AT&T long distance and local toll service bill online, please consider doing so now. AT&T is encouraging our customers to sign up for online billing because it’s convenient. With online billing, you get an e-mail message each month that your AT&T bill is available with a link to the site where you can view your bill. With a click of your mouse you can find out who you called, organize your calls instantly, and much more. Plus, you have anytime access to AT&T Online Customer Service Representatives. You can also print out your bill if you choose. Your billed amount is automatically paid by debiting your credit card or your checking account - whichever you choose. It’s important for AT&T employees and retirees to use our leading edge services. Personally experiencing online billing and its advantages will help you, as ambassadors of our business, in representing AT&T to our customers. Our objective is to have as many employees as possible enroll for online billing this year. If you sign up for online billing between September 26 and November 15, you will receive a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate. You will also receive up to 120 free minutes of domestic direct-dialed long distance credited on your first full monthly bill. To enroll, visit the Employee/Retiree Campaign Web site at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] I hope you will consider going to online billing. It is an important way for each of us to operate as an owner of the business. Please visit [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] for more details. |

If they cannot get both deals, then it seems like AT&T is giving its retired and current employees a worse deal than they are giving the general public... Now, why would AT&T want to do that? J/K... ![]() DK |

Isn't that the way? Big companies treat their customers [and/or stockholders] better than their employees? I'm billed through my local company - I may or may not be an employee of AT&T and can't (if I was an employee) even get through to a live person to find out about billing take-back! >;7

I'm not surprised at AT&T. DH works for the other big telecommunication company (think pindrop! lol) and they have a "special employee PC plan" However, the pricing is actually higher than going to the PC store and getting another comparable plan. That's why our PC is Bell South! |
