There are a lot of Membership Sites out there that allow you to save 20% Off Gift Cards to stores & restaurants such as Target, Toys R Us, Sears, JCPenney, Home Depot, Macy's, The Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Wendy’s, and more…

This is how it works. You buy $25 gift cards to the stores or restaurants they have listed. You pay $25 per gift card, and a month later, you get $5 credit back for each card.

I do not get any credit for these links. I just wanted to pass on information to anyone who can take advantage to it. Over the years, I have saved tons of money with Dealofday, and thought it would be nice to return the favor.

Kee in mind that you must be 'offered' the mainstreetsavings program. You cannot just signup unless you were offered it by your organization, credit card company, or bank. Stinks, but it's true - I just tried doing so this morning, which brought me to your forum.

Their monthly fee is ~$8 instead of having to pay an entire year upfront like many of the other giftcard memberships (Backporch, etc.)

How do you become a member? I went to the site and it looks like you need to already have been a member. Do you know where the 'join now' site is located?

other sites that have points clubs offer these at times on and off thru the year.. just check your emails and you will find them offered at: mypoints, phonehog, freeride, [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now].. they usually let you try it for $1 for a month to three months with a free gift like walkie talkies, gift cards...etc..

right now completehome does the same thing and you can join and get $20 lowes gift card thru [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] of the others do it too just contact them and ask.

I would love to try the Everyday Values Gold. Is it possible to buy the GCs during the free 30 day trial and then quit before getting charged the monthly fee? Or do you have to wait for the GCs past the trial period?

call the company up and ask them how the process works.. for example ask them when they post the 20% back to your credit card. They will tell you the first of the month or the 10th of the month for example. Then you just make sure you have about a 10 day leeway. for example if it is on the 10 of the month you want to sign up on the 20th of the month and purchase the gift cards on the 20th or 21st. then on the 12th or 13th of the month check your credit card to see if you are credited and then cancel the membership. I have did this and it can be done. Take all the information down about the cancellation and when the bill comes you will need to wait one billing cycle for the credit.. in the mean time you enjoy the 20 % savings.

Citibank just sent me something for Everyday Values Gold, with the $25 cards with $5 refund. You pay $11/month, and you get $50 in rebate certificates ($12.50 to send in quarterly), to be used on anything you buy. You apparently need a Citibank card to sign up through this telephone number (no website listed): 800 426-7288. This sounds exactly like the club I was with before, and I saved lots of money! I only quit because they raised the price too high, and didn't offer the rebates anymore. I'm going to sign up for this new one!

Hotwire savings club does have a monthly membership fee of $7.95 IF you don't cancel after the first free month. The number to join is: 1-877-581-0266
