This company has had hundreds of complaints made against them because of rebates they didn't send out to their customers. Even though this product doesn't promise a rebate, I'd still be very wary of making a purchase from them.

Outpost.com? They've been around longer than most dot coms. I used to order a ton of stuff from them back in the day without any problems. They started up around the same time amazon did. Haven't gotten anything since they've merged with Frys, though.

On a side note, my order I placed yesterday morning is still being "processed".

Just wanted to throw my two cents in here........

My husband and I have ordered from outpost several times since 1997(I remember because we ordered parts when I was pregnant with my son) with absolutely no problems. This also includes orders with more than one rebate.

That link was for those Columbia Walkie Talkies with rebates from Columbia Tech directly and although that was **** for some members I personally ordered 3 and got my rebates promptly for all 3.
I've been ordering from Outpost.com for the last 5 years w/o any complaints. Read your rebates completely and keep copies. If you have any questions about submitting your rebates phone the proper contacts and retain names of whom you spoke to.
As long as everything's in order you shouldn't have problems.

Maxie, you're right. What is confusing though is that when I checked Columbia Telecommunications Group with the BBB, their website is listed as [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now], so I thought they were the same company.
