Books Are Fun Website

I attended a child and parenting conference this weekend and learned about a company called Books Are Fun that sells books at super discount prices. I purchased a book of Christmas stories (319 pages), complete with a music cd of Christmas songs, and it was only $12! I checked out their website, [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now], and found quite a few books I plan to order. Use customer code BORGN1 when placing an order (Nancy Borg was the Books Are Fun representative who had a really neat book display set up in the vendors section of the conference). I haven't actually placed my order yet, so I don't
know how much typical shipping charges are, but the site has lots of great books.

For those that might be wondering, I do not know Nancy Borg personally or get any type of discount or commission by having folks reference her customer code. Using a customer code is apparently the only way one can place an order to received the deep discounts this website offers.

Just thought I'd share my "latest find". Enjoy!

I did attempt to place an order with the code BORGN1 and it says it is not a valid code.

So, any other suggestions?

Belsewhere, I'm sorry you encountered a problem when attempting to place an order. I checked the website and found the following verbiage:

"Your special customer code can be found on the back of the flyer you received at your school or book fair or on posters displayed in your school or daycare center. If you have lost your flyer, you may call your local representative or Customer Service at 1-800-864-4941 for assistance. They are available from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (CST), Monday to Friday.

If you have purchased from one of our regional representatives but did not receive a special customer code, email us at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]. Include the name and address (including city, state, zip) of the location where you purchased our products and we will email your code to you."

Sorry if I sound dense, but so do we have to call and get some other type of special code? I'm confused! Wasn't what you posted the special code (BORGN1)and if so, then why doesn't it work?

The special code I gave was the one I received from the person selling books on behalf of this company. When I logged into the website and tried to put a book in my shopping cart, it asked for the code, which I typed in, and then it allowed me to continue shopping. I got interrupted before I could check out and then the power went off, so I lost my session and the items in my cart. The lady didn't say anything about there being a time limit on when the Borgn1 code could be used. Since that's the extent of my knowledge of this site, I posted the customer service info if folks wanted to investigate that option. Sorry, I don't know what else to say other than if folks are having problems with the special code, calling customer service should help resolve the problem.
