Young drummer just starting out??? Check this out

Steven, our 9 yr old, just started taking drum lessons at school.
This is not what you think, the big ol noisey drums. I think I'd shoot myself
They start out using a practice pad (much easier on the ears, trust me)
We already had an 'old' drum pad from when my DH took drum lessons years ago.
Saved us from having to rent one through the school.
We had gotten a used stand on eBay but it's not working out (it's old and hard to find replacement parts,etc).
Figured I'd check online and see if I could find any decent deals on stands.
Found a GREAT deal. You get a complete practice pad package, complete with practice pad, adjustable stand and drumsticks for $29.99 (8 inch drum pad) or $32.99 (10 inch drum pad).
We opted for the 10 inch.
