Running for office - town or school etc. Lillian Vernon

I don't guess this will apply to a lot of folks. But, if you're running for office in your town or if your kid is running for office in school, then Lillian Vernon has nice pencils for good prices.

I'm running for office in a small town and didn't really have the money for the huge amounts to get the usual political items. Instead, I went to Lillian Vernon for personalized pencils. I got "my name for mayor" on sale for $7.98 for 40 pencils.

I did ask to be sure that it was OK to get political stuff from LV. The lady on the phone said that they were more than glad to print those for me and wished me luck on the election.

The most attractive ones (in my opinion) are the bright colors. They also have pastels and solid black.

The prices are great, so this would also be a nice gift to a school with some kind of friendly slogan. Some of the factories closed here, and the schools need more supplies. I'm sending some to the school here too.

Politics do tend to be "old boy" networks. I felt good that I could support a company that has focused on women and kids all these years. It sounded like I was the first person that had ever called to ask about pencils for a campaign.

Thanks! I'm not really keen on politics, but the town wasted a half million dollars on a park that is a disaster. Running at least put the issue out there for discussion. I hope we get a real park! The kids do need one.
