| Well, the DOD Two Towers train WAS rolling along, but got derailed. The next person was to refer JUST ONE other person, but referred several. Consequently, the next "approved" person on the DOD train didn't get the referral, so the chain has been broken. If someone volunteers to start up the train again, they should understand that they'll get ONLY the "Share The Love" future credit, NOT the immediate discount. Please refer ONLY the person next in line. If you have more friends that want to partake, have them wait in line and EVERYBODY will get BOTH the discount and the future credit! As it turned out, one person lost the future credit and whoever wants to start the train again will lose the immediate discount.So...do we have any volunteers who want to start the train back up? __________________ Check out these [Only registered and activated users can see links. | Well, it appears that the DOD Two Towers train got derailed, got back on track again, then went out of control, carrying a nuclear bomb down a steep incline into Denver. Oh. That's the script from one of those dumb made-for-TV movies that I never should have wasted time watching. Sorry. While the DOD Two Towers train hasn't YET become a nuclear meltdown, we do have a few pieces to pick up to get it back chugging along again. Here's the problem: We had someone (#2) refer someone (#1) who was already referred. The person (#1) already placed their order, capitalizing on the referral from person #3. Someone (#2) should have referred a new person (#4). Is everybody confused now? No? Let me try a little harder then... Person #2 used a gift certificate on their order. I suggested cancelling that order and placing a new order, properly using person #4 as the referral. Person #2 says that they experienced difficulties in the past with Amazon and use of gift certificates - that it might take WEEKS to resolve the problem and get back the value of the certificate. I don't think that will happen. I THINK that I've cancelled orders before that involved a GC, then placed new a new order using it. Has anyone else had difficulty or success doing this? Your experience is valuable, so PLEASE share. We could have a train wreck on our hands, and your assistance COULD be the difference that SAVES people (money). So, BE A HERO and help us get the DOD Two Towers train back on track! __________________ Check out these [Only registered and activated users can see links.
