I agree with you in principle - a local "game trading" shop had an ad in the Sunday paper showing how much trade-in value certain games would have....they had one listed with a trade-in value of $15.00....however, in the next column, where they had the used game sale prices, the same game was listed as selling for $35.00!!! HUGE profit for them.

But, being married to a PS2 addict and having a daughter who adores her GBC, I'm grateful for the substantially lower prices some of the used games are sold at....I can't imagine paying what retailers want for brand new ones!!!

If you shop around you can usually find prices that are equal to or less than used prices. Although, at Blockbuster and other rental places you can get used games--even the really popular ones-- for under twenty dollars... which is always fun.

(But I prefer the feel of a new game)
