Thanks for the heads up! You did a good job! What would be included in the Holiday gift merchandise? Is it packaged a certain way or products they only carry at Christmas time? I know these office supply stores usually have the popcorn tins...

Well in the store I work at its like this

They have the popcorn and cookie tins, and then they have a few big display things full of gift sets, and holiday gift packages, they are labeled fairly well.

Its stuff like personal coffee makers, mug warmers, travel mugs, stapler sets, tool sets, clocks, watch radios, am/fm shower radios... so on and so on.

Just ask customer service where their holiday gift section is... they will lead the way

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm......popcoooooooorrrrnnnnn.....

You know, this is the first office I've worked at where we haven't gotten one of those great tri-flavor popcorn tins for Christmas!! (Though we did get a 2-lb box of See's today!). I may just have to go pick up a couple of those popcorn things myself!!! Thanks for the forewarning!!

oh wow...thanks for this tip....i would never have gone to OD today. i got 4 of the popcorn tins and they had cookie tins too. also bought a little vacuum cleaner that plugs into the cigarette lighter...its really pretty powerful too...got an electric coffee mug warmer and a travel shoeshine kit...all half price.....ooooh yes and i got the cd-r deal ....buy the 50 pack for bottom line 3.99 and get a free headphone set and 12 pack of jewelcases. ended up paying 52 for it all!

Got to my local one less than ten minutes before they opened... the only EIGHT popcorn tins they had left were all completely smashed in....bought one for home. Got some other fun stuff for my office stocking stuffers. The meat & cheese things were NOT on sale at my OD though...

Staples is also doing the same "holiday half-price" thing, and since my OD is right around the corner (literally) from my Staples, I went there too. They had a TON of the popcorn tins (and none were smashed), plus a bunch of Christmas candy etc on half-price. Not a bad haul!!
