Be aware that if you try this deal and do NOT have an actual street address (one that starts with a number) such as a rural route address........IT WILL NOT WORK!! We have been waiting for an actually street address for 3 years now, but the 911 group is dragging their feet on it.

My daughter and I tried to do this every which way but upside down on two different credit cards and could not get it to work. I called TracFone and after being on hold for over 1/2 hour just with sales they proceeded to tell me that their computer will NOT recognize an address that starts with a letter. BUT that they could also NOT give me the same deal over the phone! What a bunch of jerks!!!

What really sucks is that everytime we tried something slightly different and it made an inquiry to the CC, there was a hold put on that amount on the credit card!!! So now I have over $350 on hold on my Discover Card and over $250 on my Visa card that I have to wait 8-10 days for it to roll off!! The woman at TracFone told me that I had to know EXACTLY how may holds and the amount for them to correct it and to get their fax number. I had to call both credit cards and get the information, but neither card would accept a fax for this. They said TracFone had to call. So I called TF back with the info and they REFUSED to call them. Said it had to be by fax or they wouldn't do it!!!!!!!!!!! So needless to say, I had a few words with the woman telling her that they either need to program the site to deny the CC address BEFORE putting a hold on it, or else warn people right up front that it might not go through. Of course, she put the entire blame on the credit card companies. The CC company won't let me authorize the release, either, so I'm stuck with it. BTW........the "error" that you get on TF site says that it can't process the request because the shipping address does NOT match the billing address on the card. Well, that is a bunch of crap because they match EXACTLY. It's just a stupid glitch in their system that doesn't allow a rural route number.

I finally did get it to go through by finangling my address a bit (put the RR number first, then RR, then the box number), but now I find out that it is coming by FedEx and around there, they can't find their own butts with both hands, much less find us to deliver a package. So hopefully they won't just drop it off at the neighbor's like they usually do. I called them and they said they needed a tracking number to do anything, but with my luck TF won't bother sending us the tracking number!! AAAGGGHHH!!!
