| I am new to this site and am looking for some advice from some of you dealtalk veterans. There is a new site called iderive that just launched w/ consumer electronics. Their prices are really cheap. They must be subsidizing to attract new consumers. But here's the kicker. If the item on the site is not available, they will pay you cash!!! Has anyone heard of them or bought anything from them yet? I feel like I should take advantage of their cheap prices while they are still around.

| I went here too. The DVD player I just purchased 2 weeks ago for $229 was $199. Wish I could have saved $20. I didn't look at shipping charges though so it probably would work out to about the same as I paid. So, maybe their prices are about the same as circuit city or best buy, all things considered. |

| Hey Everybody, thanks for the warm welcome wishes. I just bought a dvd player for $199 on iderive. By the way, amyhosey, shipping was $8.95. All in after shipping it was a good $20 cheaper than other sites. Worst case scenario: I don't get the item and I get paid $20 which I will use to try and purchase the dvd player again. This could be fun and addictive. |
