Wow! Thank you! I swore I wasn't shopping on Black Friday, but the tv, cookware and vaccum cleaner are awfully tempting.
I haven't seen it , but a TV ad has been running about the sale. A friend of mine went to Wal-Mart this evening to look at the 27" televisions that'll be on sale for $148.62 and said they were worth buying. A man working in the electronics department told her that, although they have about 150 in stock for the sale, if she wanted one she'd better be there at 6 or earlier. Now we're debating about going together.
The Wal-Mart parking lot has been the scene thefts... a young woman was dragged for a considerable distance because her purse strap caught on her arm when someone in a passing car tried to grab it. I love a bargain, but there's no way I'd go by myself.
