Big grin Cheap milk! and other good Costco deals...

Costco has milk for $1.88 gallon of skim.

The price does fluctuate somewhat, but this is the lowest I've seen it there. I have been paying $2.44 at the grocery store so this is a big savings...especially worth the trip and cost of membership if you buy many and often. I bought 10 which will last about that many days so I saved $5.60 on this item alone!

4 pounds of butter for $5.29 is cheaper than my grocery store...

salted peanuts in the shell 5 pounds for $4.49...about $.89/lb compared to $1.39 in the grocery store...

Eggs were $4.39 for 7.5 dozen...about .58/dozen

Cheese was about $2/lb in a 5 lb block and even cheaper shredded...

I also buy meat there.

There are plenty of non food deals especially in clothes.

Film developing is cheap, too!

If you work close by, the snack shop has some great deals for lunch.

Know your prices before you go!

My good deals

My best Costco Deals:

3lbs of coffee beans $6.99

70 oz box of Minute Rice $3.99

Men's Kirkland jeans $12.99 (these are good quality. My
husband used to only wear $30 levis until he tried these)

Women's tennis shoes $13.99

15lbs automatic dish detergent $6.59

I've also saved about $50 with the coupons Costco sends out at the beginning of the summer.

I only buy things that are better or the same deals than I can get at the grocery store. I rarely find coupons for items we use and I live in the land of no doubles so Costco is a big money saver for us.

I miss having a COSTCO since I moved from WA, however, it doesn't look like I am missing much this time. A LOT of those prices are what I pay at the grocery store here. Milk is $1.88 and often goes on sale for less than that (whole milk) not sure about the butter price, since I dont ever buy butter. I Still miss costco though!

State law sets the price for milk in PA. I think currently it's 2.67 a gallon for 2% and can't go below that.

Any (very) cheap baby product? Diaper? Baby Wipes?

I ever bought 500++ct of Huggies Baby Wipes for less than $6 (after in-store discount and rebate) at Costco.

Baby Items

I usually buy generic diapers and wipes for cheaper at the grocery store. Costco's Kirkland brand Acetaminophen (infant Tylenol) is a good deal for me though. I can get three 1oz bottles for about $4.00. That's the same price as the cheapest 1/2oz bottle at any of my local stores. I go through a lot of this stuff when my kids are teething. Between that and coffee, I definitely save the amount of my membership each year. Kirkland brand shampoo & conditioner are pretty good deals too. My local stores don't put anything on sale if there is a current coupon out on it, so I NEVER get the good deals other people talk about, unless RiteAid has it free with rebate. Our dollar store rarely has things priced as low as a dollar and our Grocery Outlet is often only a few cents cheaper than my regular grocery store.

There are many things that are more expensive at Costco, but if you know your prices, you can get better deals.
