My dream jeans.........have you seen them?

Okay, so they are my dream jeans for the moment. Here is what I want, and yes, I know I'm picky, and no, they probably aren't out there, but I swear I've seen them somewhere in all my online shopping/browsing lately, but can I find them now? Nooooooo....

• Medium to dark denim, but not super dark
• Low-rise, but not butt-crack jeans
• Loose fit through the hip and thigh, but don't want the waist gapping
• Straight-leg or stovepipe (yes, they're back!)
• Can be either button-fly (would prefer this, with no cover over the buttons) or zip-front

I'm not asking too much, am I?

Oh, and they have to be cheap, no more than $29.99.

There are some low-rise jeans (not button fly) at the Eddie Bauer outlet for $14.99. I can't remember all the details, but worth checking out. I know what you mean about dream jeans. I am still trying to find a pair of Jou Jou low rise size 16 I have one pair and they're the most comfortable jeans I've ever worn!!

Oh, yes, I know what you mean! Well, the reason I want these jeans to be straight leg, maybe even wide leg, is because if they are loose through the thigh and not fitted, then it makes your hips look smaller, too! Well, at least it does that for me. The tapered ankles aren't too flattering either, unless the whole jean is fitted and you've got slim thighs and hips.

OK not buttin fly but Levis 577. They replaced another number not sure what. They are great! Low rise and roomy. If I could wear them everyday I would! Good luck. Good jeans are hard to find.

I went to the mall today to get a new pair of glasses, and while I was waiting for them to make them, I went shopping for jeans. I found a WONDERFUL pair that I think I'm going to LOVE!! I remembered that someone posted here about a pair of Levis, but I couldn't remember the style number they said. I just now came in here to see what it was, and guess what?

I bought a pair of Levi's 577s!!!!!!!!! Momto1, you were right! These jeans are great! I don't know if I'll wear the others that are in my closet ever again! You know your jeans, woman!!

I STILL wanted these jeans. I saw them in The Buckle, tried them on, loved the denim, loved the fit, HATED the price there ($72). Well, Lucky sent me a $10 gift certificate for filling out a survey, so I figured, since I'm working full-time for six weeks while my co-worker is out on maternity leave, I DESERVE THESE JEANS! And yes, I did buy the Levi's back in April, and I love them, but dang it, I couldn't get these out of my mind, so I BOUGHT THEM!!

I couldn't help it.
