Please Read - I Need Your Help!

One of the first grade teachers in my son's elementary school has had her class studying families and cultures in the United States and around the world. As a class project they have asked extended families and friends to send them postcards from where they live. The class will then locate the city, state, or country on maps and study more about that location.

They are trying to get postcards from all 50 states and from as many countries as possible. I am asking all my fellow Deal of the Day members to please consider helping with this class project. The address is:

I'll sent a "Lincoln" card out on Monday.... From The Walker Family, Land of Lincoln...... Illinois that is....

The kids & I made a homemade postcard on our computer, it has lots of "Lincoln" photos and info.... Lincoln is very big here in Illinois....... Hope they like it !!!! This was fun to do, thanks for making todays good deed such fun for the kids & I....

THANK YOU to everyone who sent postcards to Miss Buechler's First Grade Class! They have received post cards from almost every state in the US and a number of countries overseas!

They still need postcards from South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma, so if any fellow Deal of the Day members are from these states, please consider helping with this class project.

Our overseas members are welcome to join in the fun too!

Does anyone here on Deal of the Day live in New Hampshire? That's the one state not yet represented in Miss Buechler's First Grade class postcard project. I don't think I included NH in one of the last posts I made saying they still had 4 or 5 states yet to go.

Thanks to everyone who helped with this project! The kids are all excited about doing this same project next year!
