| Need a good deal on a computer...online or B&M
I'm looking for: 1 gig plus processor 512 meg of RAM several gig hard drive CD-rom burner flat panel monitor 17" I'm not very good at sorting through computer info so any help would be appreciated. |

don't want to do much work? just go to dell.com and order one. Their prices for name-brand stuff are pretty hard to beat. The 17" flat panel will cost you, though. You can save, oh, $400 or more by holding off on that item. PS - i'd recommend 20Gig HD if possible. You wont save much money with a smaller size. |

How about buying a monitor locally or I think I saw decent price at pcmall.com for monitors. For rest of computer maybe look at the E Machines at Best Buy with mail in rebates or take a peek at ComputerGeeks They constantly change the type of cpu power etc. So you might check them daily.
