I picked up the HoMedics HD-500 Sonicare toothbrush from a recent Amazon Friday sale and really like it, although it took some getting used to. It only comes with one brush head, so looking to the future, I began searching for replacement heads. First of all, they are hard to find. Second of all, they are ridiculously pricey. $7 to $8 per head, sold in a 2-pack. I guess this is why they are able to drop the price on the toothbrush itself, because if you want to continue using it, they'll make a riduculous profit from the initial sale over the long run. I'd consider buying a large quantity of them if I could get them for what they're really worth, then sell them on eBay for a marginal profit. Anyone know of any good sources? If you want a laugh, check out these replacement brushes on Amazon (see
