Being new to the forum, I wanted to say this is incredible - all the deals and everyone sharing.

Anyway, on to the question. Having been unable to locate a particular desk in the wife's color (Snow Maple) she wants (I say buy the cherry finish and get it over with - but it's a color thing??!!!) at OfficeMax.com/Catalog (unable to use the $50 off $250) purchase and the instore 10% off office furniture promotion is over.

Does anyone have a link to an OfficeMax instore printable coupon for $ or % off either Office Furniture or General non-specific in-store retal Office Max merchandise. We can't find the desk, in this shade, any where else without paying a fortune for LTL Truck shipping.

I'm driving 150 miles one way to pick this thing up in Shelby, NC tomorrow and would greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks for the searching Rhea. I'm picking it up today, but there's no means of ordering it online at OM or OD as they don't list it for purchase.

Closest thing was Staples (cherry finish) and they will only deliver 30-40 miles away at the in-laws home. We'd still have to lug it home from their place.

So there he goes, 3 hours away, just to get me the color I wanted...Is that love or what? In the meantime, I discover it at our local Lowe's - oh dear. I decide I will take that bit of knowledge to the grave.

Then he calls later to tell me this: He gets to Office Max only to find...the desk is gone? Beat up? No, it's on clearance, it's been there for years, it seems, and they are glad to be rid of it. So it's been marked down a bit - how much? $250. The $400 O'Sullivan workcenter is now $150.

I tell him the Lowe's story...we laugh...I love my new desk!

So who needs a coupon, anyway?
