Cheap eye exam and contact lenses

Hi,

My prescription has expired and I need to do an eye exam and also get new contact lenses.
Could you tell me which the cheapest deals are out there?
Is Walmart's a good deal?

Personally, I go to a small time optometrist for my exam..usually charges me around $20.00 for exam and then order my contact lenses online. I go through coastal contacts.com just because both my daughter and I wear the 1 day accuvues and they are the cheapest thus far on the internet in prices and shipping. On top of that, they ship really fast. I've tried several other online places but have found they either took a long time to get to my residence or else the prices were to high..

PS: Wal-Mart doesn't do eye exams in my city..

*sigh* I hear you on this one. I dropped my lense down the drain! I was so mad at myself... 8 years and I've never done that!

Please! If anyone has any suggestions...I can't take my glasses another day!

I was assuming this was the same doctor who prescribed original lens---I did it just two months ago--lost my contact in Kitchen somewhere so he just ordered that one again.
