| Joy, Thanks for the reminder about the expiration dates. I spoke with the box top coordinator at my son's school and she confirmed that General Mills is a stickler for giving credit for only those box tops which do not have an expired date on them. To date, my cyber friends, including those from this forum, have helped collect over 927 box tops for me. On behalf of my son's school, THANK YOU!!! ![]() |

| Where are the expiration dates? I don't see any except for the cereal boxes date? I checked their site and I think you only have to save just the box top for education logo part of the box top. I've been saving these for my daughter for awhile and I hope I've been ripping off the right parts!

| Andee1, the expiration date (if there is one) is located right on the logo itself. I have noticed that some of the logos do not have any type of expiration date - I know General Mills has recently changed the look of the logo, based on info I read on their website, but I haven't actually seen the new logon on any of the products yet. It sounds like you are saving the correct parts of the box! Good luck in your project! Please let me know if you are interested in receiving a copy of the flyer I created. It's a Word document that outlines the box top program and how friends/neighbors/co-workers can help their local schools earn money. With a few minor changes, you could use it to "recruit" others in your area to help save box tops for your daughter's school. |

| I am the coordinator for our elementary school and I have never found them to care about the expiration dates. I was told all they do is weigh them. They cant' actually go through each one. They do spot checks on some of them. As of last year they no longer have expiration dates. I'm almost positive in the handbook update that they sent me it said since they no longer expire they will accept any of them. |

| Campbells Labels In Sunday's paper there was an ad for the Campbells labels for education program. There was a coupon on the ad - said if it was attached to 20 labels, it was good for an additional 100 labels. Great deal - the equivalent of 120 labels for only 20 labels. It was in with the glossy coupon insert |

| Sam917, the coupon appeared in our Sunday paper last week. My son's school does not save the Campbell's soup labels, but I am saving them for a fellow parent - her daughter's school is trying to collect 2000 labels by the end of February to purchase a new microwave for the kids lunch room. I called a lot of my neighbors and spoke to a number of parents at school and asked to have their coupon if they weren't using them - so far I have managed to collect 25 coupons for my friend! I haven't told her exactly how many I have - I want to surprise her (hopefully she doesn't read these boards - hee hee). It really is a great deal, especially for smaller communities like my friends (Port Huron Michigan) who really have to work at collecting 2000 labels! When I send them to her, I plan to write a little note saying something to the effect that the soup label coordinator can maybe get a few extra "wish list" items this year for the school. They are waiting until the end of February to turn in all their labels, so these coupons really are an added bonus - they won't have to save any extra labels to collect the 100 free ones. If anyone has these coupons that Sam917 mentioned and you aren't using them, I'd be more than happy to take them off your hands! Have a great day everyone! ![]() |

| I just read a thread from Sharon asking for the Campbell's soup label coupons that were in the Sunday paper - sounds like her daughter's school could really use the help here folks! Anyone that received this coupon in their paper and is not using, please read the following deal of the day thread: [Only registered and activated users can see links. | Regarding local campbells soup label drive: Also, if you are wondering if your neighborhood school collects the soup labels, try this link: [Only registered and activated users can see links. If you put your zip code in, it will tell you which schools in your area are participating. ![]() |

| I spoke to the gal coordinating the box top program at my son`s school and she said the end of March is when all the box tops have to be turned in to General Mills to be counted toward our 2001-2002 goal of $1100. Any turned in after March 31, 2002 will be counted in next year`s school goal. If folks currently saving box tops for me can get them to me by mid-March so they can be counted toward this year`s goal, that would be great! I will be saving them all year long, so please continue to save them and send them when you can - it all helps the school raise much needed funds, whether the $$ is counted toward this year`s goal or next year`s. THANK YOU for your continued support! |

| General Mills is offering a new incentive program called the Box Tops for Education Honor Roll. The Honor Roll recognizes schools that have met a stretch goal set by General Mills based on last year's participation in the program. To reach the goal General Mills has set for my son's elementary school, the school needs to collect 1500 more box tops (to date for this year we have collected 5000!) between now and March 30th. The reward for reaching the goal will be 800 additional box tops ($80). The school will also be recognized for its efforts on the Box Tops for Education website [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or

I'm on a mission to try to recruit as many new cyber friends as I can to help collect box tops for me to help the school reach its stretch goal and be on the General Mills Honor Roll! |

| My son's school only needs a little over 600 more box tops to be included in the General Mills Box Tops for Education Honor Roll program.
