This is limited to companies, but you can create a company name and get a catalog or order on line. This is really a great site for gifts for kids especially

This site is great: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

You can make up a company name but you don't need ID numbers or anything like that.
You also do not have to order in lots of 3. That just saves in the shipping.

I've been ordering from here for years.
Good stuff!

The site that I posted above "LTD commodities" and the one that Tracir posted "ABC distributing" are exactly the same. LTD is located in Illinois and ABC is located in Florida. The only difference would be in the shipping charges. Deja' vu. It's like a parallel universe!!

I have a business, so did not have to make up a name. However, I do know that some people just gave a name that they made up and were given an account.

I don't think that these sites really care, they are pretty accessible. Maybe the reason for having to be a company is so that they feel they can trust that you will pay. They are very easy to order from and I suppose some people would take advantage of the pay later format more readily on a personal basis, rather than on a business level.

Use your personal judgement about this is all I can suggest.

I've ordered from ABC Distributing before and made up a name and said I ran a daycare. (My 4 kids constitute a daycare- and a night care!) Had to give telephone numbers but nobody ever contacted me. You have 10 days from the time you receive your merchandise, to pay for it. Also, the Seventh Avenue one is somehow affiliated with Swiss Colony. If you are a regular (credit) customer with Swiss Colony, you'll usually get catalogs from Seventh Avenue, too, with the same terms as Swiss Colony's.

On ltd and abc they are now charging more if they deliver to a home address (I have a business in my home and have ordered them frequently the last 3 or 4 years) abc also has a cap of $100 for your first order.

Also don't order from them if you are in a hurry to get something it takes a few weeks and if items aren't in stock they can take months!

Shocked Re: Who knows more shop now - pay later sites?

Ok I thought of a couple more companies the first is Lakeside.com which is just like abc and ltd. tenderheart.com and figis.com and the last is Doubleday. And some bad advice to share I know that when I got married I just put in my new name to swiss colony and its subsidiary companies and it let me order all over again. Take that as you will... If you learn of any more, let me know, via email or yahoo. Thanks
