| Re: Who knows more shop now - pay later sites? Same here! I have great credit and don't want an excessive amount of credit cards so that I can keep it that way (the one that I do have is for emergencies) so I prefer to have delayed billing for 90 days for instance. I use LTD regularly and pay within a couple of weeks of receiving my items. I have a $1000 credit with Billmelater that I've kept in good standing for years now so I don't think that everyone here has bad credit and is trying to "steal". If I see a post here that I don't personally agree with (i.e. one post told posters to use a different name each time they attempt to obtain credit with one of the companies or something) then I just ignore that post because it doesn't pertain to me. But I don't make accusations or "judge" others. I am currently in school working toward my Psy.D and just don't have the extra money to purchase things that I may need up front.

Unless you order from book clubs like doubleday book clubs or any of their subsideiries or are willing to mess around with columbia house for weeks *sometimes they offer the option of paper billing and sometimes not* Then forget it. No decent site around lets you do that. At one point a few sites did offer that but they quickly got wise. |

| I have tried every one of these sites and they all now either want good credit, a credit card or the "bill me later " thing. Even the choose and charge people have turned me down. I think they have all caught on. Sorry folks. Donna If any of you find one, please post it here. Thanks. |

| Re: Who knows more shop now - pay later sites? All of these want good credit ,a credit card,or a deposit before sending. Come on,I know there has to be more than just abc out there! I ordered from abc and recieved my order with no credit check and no deposit. I know other companies like that have to exist if abc does. where's a good web site detective when you need one? |

| I have NEVER stolen anything in my life!! What is wrong with people? My husband messed my credit up so bad when we were together it is shameful. i am disabled and live on a limited income so before you judge you need to think again. Just because you steal from these companies dont mean the rest of us do.. |

| Re: Who knows more shop now - pay later sites? I am in the same boat and have been for YEARS! I am now 40 but at the age of 22, I married and trusted my now ex husband, he had used my social security number to make purchases, I never knew anything about it until I started recieving bills under my name that had fallen behind. The last straw for the marriage was when "his' boat was suddenly repossessed- it was purchased under my name and s.s. number! This occurred in the 80's when credit fraud and theft was not as prevelent as it is now. I filed for divorce but could not afford to fight it in court, so old credit cards and his bancruptcy, and boat repossession all affected me! No one will give me a chance whatsoever to this day. And unfortunately, I have had to do without, most of my life, so if there are opportunities where I can take advantage of their programs responsibly and legally, then as a consumer, I want to know where they are and if I qualify. Most of the buy now pay later websites are usually way too expensive for me anyway. I understand what the individual is trying to get across but there are a handful of consumers who are responsible and actually need help in the ways of being trusted when making purchases, especially in todays world. |

| Re: Who knows more shop now - pay later sites? The site that I posted above "LTD commodities" and the one that Tracir posted "ABC distributing" are exactly the same. LTD is located in Illinois and ABC is located in Florida. The only difference would be in the shipping charges. Deja' vu. It's like a parallel universe!! |
