Can anyone tell me what the best deal on windows xp is. I see all of the post about the extras that come with windows but i don't want to pay all the money and then have to take a chance on all of the rebates. Of course I do like the extra perks, and if there is a good deal for a palm, a scanner, or digital camera, I would like to know about that also. but I would like to stay $150 in the area of that amount. Thanks |

Check out officemax. Assuming the "$60 off $350" couon code still works, for $200 less a $50 rebate (net of $150) you can get XP pro upgrade, a webcam, memory, a scanner, and a 12X cd burner. In general, I think this is the best "xp freebie" deal in terms of value of the items and keeping the rebate amount down. Otherwise, if you don't want to get into the rebate/freebie arena, go to staples and use a $off coupon, or there was one other place selling OEM copies for $90 (search the internet deals for xp to find it). Personally, I think this last one was a bit shady, but maybe its legit. |

i heard office depot is giving $400 worth of merchandise if you purchase xp. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or

the link above takes you to a page that references office max having $400 worth of freebies, not office depot. I believe OD only gives you some free memory or some such minor freebie.
