A great way to get a good deal at your local electronics store like Best Buy and Fry's, is ask if they have any "open box" items. I got the Canon S300 printer (2800x1200dpi) for $69 as an open box item, regularly priced $99. The open box items carry the same warranties and rights as an unopened item. The packages inside my box (such as the cables and manuals) had not even been opened. Open box items are often returned by a previous purchasers without being used at all. My printer works beautifully. I also purchased my digital camera as an open box item and it works perfectly. |
