Long Distance PHone companies

I'm looking for a cheap long distance phone company. I'm with bigredwire.com right now and they are starting to charge extra garbage in addition to the monthly service.

Anyone out there with some tips?

I would consider forgetting the long distance telephone companies if you don't mind using prepaid calling cards. Sam's Club has dropped their rates to 3.47 cents per minute. I also believe, if you purchase them online, they ship them for free and do not charge tax. I know, in New York State at least, they do charge tax on them at the Club. The sam's long distance phone card sounds great, but I have to dial some other number befrore I can get through. That's a bummer. I've used calling cards before and they aren't the most convenient way to call someone....Or maybe it's much easier than before....hehe...I'll check it out....thanks again!

I've been pretty happy with Unitel:

1-Interstate rate of 4.5 cents/min
2-Six second billing increments
3- $2 monthly fee if usage is below $15
4- Refund of switching fees
5- Low intrastate rates
