Long Distance!

Ok,

We definitely need a new Long Distance plan.

First off, we get close to $20 in Taxes/Fees/OtherCrap each month...half of them we have no idea what they are!

And then AT&T is charging us $.12/minute...which seems high! We rack up close to 90 dollars a month in Long Distance.

And how exactly does it work? If you cancel your Long Distance, then you don't have to pay all the fee's, right?? Are calling cards a good way to go??

I also saw the MyPoints Sprint Deal....$.7/minute, for a $5.95 monthly fee...but you can get the fee waves...that sounds good. Anyone tried it??

I have five cents per minute in and out of state 24/7 with Sprint for $3 a month. BUT there are different plans with diferent states. Just call them and ask for the best plan that is available for you, if there are any promotions going on, or rebates. You might do better than with MyPoints.

Also, I have a lot of friends that do not even have a long distance plan. They buy phone cards(the most reliable is Costco Sprint cards at 4.2 cents per minute)and use them exclusively. NO long distance carrier, no fees!!
