HELP!! I am a POOR college student and need to find discount codes to buy my school books. At my bookstore they are going to total over $300.00 and I just can not afford that amount at this time. Can we start a thread here with all the book store codes that are out there!! Thanks

My son & daughter are in college Statistics together and hopefully will be able to share a book.
It is $110 !!! The teacher said that Barnes & Nobles carries it cheaper than the college book store.
Anyone one have any codes for Barnes & Nobles?
Thanks,
Sheri

I have two daughters in college this year, so I had to find cheap books also. I found the cheapest ones at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]. I bought used, but their new prices were cheaper than the campus bookstore, also.

Here are some ecampus codes:

$10 off your purchase of $100 or more
Code: news10 · Expires: 9/30/2001
Code: GET10 · Expires: 9/15/2001

If Barnes & Noble has used copies of what you want, their prices are excellent, too. Using the code posted previously, and with the free shipping on two or more items, PLUS, using your Discover Card, which pays a 7% rebate for purchases from B&N, you will get a GREAT deal!!

Good luck!

I believe that Half.com has recently opened a used textbook section on their site also.

I used to buy my books at Varsity Books (the website is a variation of this) and Alibris. Varisty has used text books and I have found them to be like a college book store in that they stock mostly academic material. Not sure of any coupons, but you can do a search on them and it is poosible that a site will come up with coupons on it. B&N, Amazon, and Booksamillion are okay, but you may or may not find the school book you need.
I just graduated with my second Masters and these places saved me some bucks!

With 2 in college here, also, I've become an expert at searching for cheap textbooks. We've gotten some excellent deals at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] and also Amazon's Used Book Marketplace.

Another site you might want to check out is [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

Good Luck!!

Re: Discount Codes for Books

I am a college student and I have been buying books from [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] for the last couple of years. They have the cheapest books. Use to code: cheap100 to get extra 5% discount on the already cheap prices.
So, buy from there and save.
